The Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) is a public university located in the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain (with a second campus in Lugo). Karaganda Economic University was founded in 1966 as the Karaganda Cooperative Institute of Centrosoyuz and in 1997 after passing the state accreditation institution was renamed and received university status. KаrUK is among the three leading humanitarian and economic universities of the country. The University is part of several international associations. Today the university has 117 existing cooperation agreements with leading universities in 25 countries. The Technological University of Tajikistan was established on September 20, 1990, as the Technology Higher College of Tajikistan, and in 1991 was transformed into the Technological Institute of Light and Food Industries. Then, in 1993 it was transformed into the Technological University of Tajikistan. The Technological University of Tajikistan is the only university in the Republic of Tajikistan that trains competitive specialists – engineers in the field of light and food industries. The University of Technology of Tajikistan is one of two pilot universities that began the transition to a credit education system. In 2005 the students of two faculties of the university – engineering – economics and international faculty began to study credit technology. Training with higher and postgraduate education is carried out at 8 faculties in 41 undergraduate specialities, 36 master’s specialities and in 8 areas of doctoral PhD. TUT is one of the first universities of the republic, which over the years has been phasing in the implementation of the main provisions of the Bologna process. During its existence, TUT has prepared more than 14,500 highly qualified specialists for various sectors of the national economy of which more than 680 students graduated with honours. The Tajik State University of Commerce is one of the leading HEIs in the Republic of Tajikistan was founded as Trade Institute in 1987. Today TSUC with more than 6 thousand students and more than 150 teaching staff is an important educational institution in the market of educational services of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Tajik State University of Commerce was the first university in the Republic that adopted the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) in 2005. Moreover, University’s 6 bachelor and master programs on economics, management, finance, economic law are accredited by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) based in Kazakhstan. The TSUC provides 34 BA programmes, 10 MS programmes, and 8 Ph.D. programmes in the fields of Economy, Management, Banking, World Economy, Law, and Business. Technological and Innovative Park “Fanovar” was founded on September 1, 2011. The park is planned to introduce the results of scientific research achievements and innovative ideas of talented students, graduate students, suckers, doctoral students and teachers through the technology and innovative park “Fanovar”.
Tasks of the technology and innovative park “Fanovar” are:
– monitoring the supply of the industrial park with raw materials depending on the characteristics of the country’s regions;
– application of the minimum requirements of a student’s professional knowledge in accordance with the chosen profession;
– attracting gifted students to research and creative work, introducing the results of scientific research achievements and innovative ideas of teachers, graduate students and applicants into production;
– attracting students to professional activities in the workshops of the technopark in order to increase the level of their professional knowledge;
– conducting practices and research in the laboratory of the tekhnopark;
– experimental production of products (soft drinks and new types of pasta) using raw materials from the regions of the country;
– fruitful cooperation with industrial enterprises on the implementation of scientific and innovative achievements in production.

The Education Center “Business pro” is a private company. It was founded in 2017. The main activity of the Center is the development and implementation of business training programs for beginners and existing entrepreneurs. Initially, by order of the National Chamber “Atameken” a pilot course “Business School” was developed on the basis of colleges. There are more than 400 colleges in the Karaganda region, at the moment 129 of them have “Business Schools” at their base. In 2018 the first private business incubator was opened. A program for incubation and acceleration has been developed. 5 incubation programs and 2 acceleration programs were carried out. In the areas of E-commerce, EdTech, FinTech, AgriTech. IT/IoT solutions for the industry, etc. Business incubation on request was carried out for the following partners: Joint-Stock Company “Infocommunication Holding Zerde” and Municipal State Institution of Internal Policy of Karaganda Region. We closely cooperate with the business incubator of Nazarbayev University – Astana Business Campus, with the technopark of Nazarbayev University. On the basis of the training centre there is a “Club of Mentors”, more than 20 people from the region who have been trained under the World Bank’s program “Zhas Project”. Research team: ECBP
